Museum of Science – Boston, MA                                                                                  July 2022 – Present

Exhibit Maintenance Technician

  • Perform root cause analysis using a variety of mechanical, electrical, and digital tools in order to minimize/eliminate downtime of broken exhibit components.

  • Use strict museum procedures to restore, preserve, and transport numerous irreplaceable antique artifacts and collection pieces owned by the museum to ensure their appearance and/or functionality.

  • Aid in the installation, deinstallation, and swapping out of both exhibits and exhibit areas all while under tight time constraints, juggling multiple responsibilities, and ensuring the safety of sensitive components

  • Oversee inventory work on a variety of departmental supplies and equipment to maximize utilization of storage space, streamline the process of finding spare pieces, and ensure proper inventory levels.

  • Collaborate weekly with other departments in order to help the museum host after-hour functions by performing a variety of duties such as lighting, exhibit presentation, and exhibit hall maintenance to ensure the museum maintains a good reputation within the community.

Freelance 3D Modeler – Austin, TX                                                                                   Summer 2018 – June 2022

  • Use client specifications to replicate historical artifacts using 3D modeling to then be 3D printed, modeled, packaged, and sold to museums across the United States.

  • Interpret 2D drawings and images and recreate them in 3D to a high level of precision to ensure the final model is usable for the client’s unique purposes.

  • Conduct extensive research to problem solve design issues and implement changes to ensure objects are modelled accurately.

  • Clean up and alter existing 3D models to repurpose them to suit the client’s needs.

3D Digital Twin Image Analyst

  • Completed 3D digital twin analyses of existing telecommunication infrastructure which resulted in potential opportunities to save money by reducing the number of new cellphone towers that needed to be built to provide service to customers.

  • Collaborated with key stakeholders to ensure all image data input was received in a timely and accurate manner.
